Welcome to the KAI Report - the deepest study of Kyrie Irving’s skill-sets ever performed. We tracked 10 consecutive games, 649 possessions, and reported every skill used. Amazingly, Kyrie Irving performed 176 unique skills in just 10 games.

THE PARTIAL SPEED STOP

"The act of stopping first on the inside foot, and stopping shorter with the outside foot."

Let’s discuss the Partial Speed Stop. As we know, in a span of 10 games Kyrie used a type of Speed Stop 118 times. But what’s interesting, is that a Partial Speed Stop was used 31 times compared to a prototypical Speed Stop which was used 37 times.

This means that Kyrie utilized a Partial Speed Stop almost to the same extent of his favorite stopping footwork! That should draw our attention. So in this episode, we discuss the advantages of a Partial Speed Stop.
